Freed from negative power structures

I come from the Church of Sweden and am now training for ordained ministry. I have been at university for almost five years, and I love it. For me my studies are a way of gaining knowledge I can then transform into practice. It is a way of changing me, so that I can change the world.
I am freed by God’s love to learn, to live in an environment where I can connect the church and its history to the contemporary world and to, by being me, have an impact on our society.
I am freed by God’s love from things that limit me. Even though I am a part of negative power structures and even though I sometimes have to struggle to do what I think is right, I am freed to always attempt it.
