Interview with young reformer Grosvyn

What is the ongoing reformation you want to see in your church?

I want us to know what the Lutheran church is and who we are as Lutherans taking care of the creation

What has been the reaction to the project among the youth?

The reaction of the youth has been really good and positive from the youth. The workshops received good feedback

How has been the participation of the youth in the reformation project?

We had 24 youth from our local parish participating in the project. The national youth coordination supported the project and led it. Additionally, there is a pro-environment group at national level that supported us and joined our cause. Four communities were involved from different parts in Honduras.

What has been challenging about creating the project?

The main challenge was the lack of time for the project leaders

Did everything go as planned?

No, the plan was in the beginning very big but unfortunately we did not get extra support from different institutions to donate trees and funds. The budget was very limited, so unfortunately we could not more and spread more the work of the project. We tried to use the existing channels in the church to accomplish the main goal 180 trees planted.

How do you see the continuity of the project?

We have the pro-environment group that wants to continue with the youth. We definitely have an interest to continue this project. We hope to find support for keeping the activity and our churches.
