Interview with Young Reformer Muhame Tom Kagwisagye

What is the ongoing reformation you want to see in your church?

More awareness is needed through improved drama, music, and serious evangelism. We need to preach the true gospel.

What has been the reaction of the project among the youth?

The reaction was very encouraging from the youth. They would like to reproduce the plays and make their own videos in other parts in Uganda. It is very positive

How has been the participation of the youth in the reformation project?

We have 12 members in the team leading the project. About 111 youth participated in the project. Participants came from different regions and 20 parishes in Uganda. The drama and video was produced once and then shared widely.

What has been challenging about creating the project?

It was challenging to organize the outreach and transportation to the different parishes. In some remote rural areas there was no supply of electricity or any electronic equipment.

Did everything go as planned?

No, we wanted to use media, radios, and other channels but it was very difficult to accomplish that. We tried to reach this goal of the project but unfortunately the challenges were very difficult to surpass.

How do you see the continuity of the project?

This is an important project to continue so that more youth are reached and are able to learn about salvation.
