We also organized a meeting with all the church staff (pastors, deacons and lay leaders)

Workshops in skype and in different communities in Colombia.

Interview with the Young Reformers

What is the ongoing reformation you want to see in your church?

We would like to live the reformation through peace and reconciliation in Colombia. Also, we would like for our church to keep reforming itself and to respond to the current situations in our country.

What has been the reaction of the project among the youth?

The reaction has been very positive and the church and the youth leaders were engaged in the workshops and the contribution for the Lutheran church in general.

How has been the participation of the youth in the reformation project?

We did have 29 workshops in the creation of the book, the church leaders, the youth and the church members can learn from this product. We worked in 4 different groups and the participants were divided in those. The church workers and other professionals also were involved in the project. The meetings were organized weekly, virtually via Skype and physically.

What has been challenging about creating the project?

It was very difficult to coordinate many people who was participating and supporting voluntary the project. The time schedule of the team was limited and many times coordinate between the leaders. The responsibility as project holders was big and keeping the motivation in creating the book and the workshops was always challenging.

Did everything go as planned?

No, It didn’t go as we planned it. We surpassed the difficulties and we reached the goals the main objectives in the creation of the book. We are very glad that everything has worked well at the end.

How do you see the continuity of the project?

For our project the second stage is to share the material, our book, and to give training to the youth to spread the knowledge in the workshops. This material can be reproduced and used for future. It can especially be used in Latin America if they wish to use our book. We hope to continue for the growing of our church.
