What did you aim at?

Our aim was to increase the participation of young people in all the nine districts of the Lutheran Church in Liberia (LCL). We focused on increasing the very low participation rate of women within the Youth department and encouraging them to serve as leaders and organizers of youth groups

What did you achieve?

Trained the LCL Youth leadership and strengthened their abilities in managing the youth activities in the various districts and parishes.

What did you do?

We conducted meetings with key stakeholders including the national youth leadership and district leaders. The meetings were very instrumental in motivating our work and offered support for increasing youth involvement. Furthermore, we held a meeting with the General Secretary of the Lutheran Church in Liberia, who supervises all projects in the LCL.
