2021 Calendar: Sept - Dec
Join Ecumenical youth from around the world in this month from 1st September through 4th October, as thousands of Christians on six continents get together for a time of restoration and hope, a jubilee for our Earth, and to discover radically new ways of living with creation.
Ecumenical youth will be hosting an event each Monday this month (Sept 6, 13, 20, 27, and Oct 4). Check LWF Youth Facebook or Instagram for more information.
Since 2011, Youth have led LWF Conference of Parties (COP) delegations and they are leading climate justice projects all over the world, focusing on the importance of taking care of the creation, intergenerational justice, how to participate in climate national processes like National Determined Contributions - NDC, promoting reforestation in their own communities and gathering ideas for climate justice engagement on carbon neutrality.
Check LWF Youth Facebook and Instagram pages for updates on educational events and resources from this delegation.

As we gather to commemorate the 504th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation, the LWF Youth lead our call for a re-formation of our relationship with all the Earth!
We will also bless the service and witness of the 32 young people who will make up the LWF Delegation at COP 26.

The 16 Days of Activism for ending Violence Against Women and Children is a global awareness-raising campaign. This annual campaign, 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to 10 December (International Human Rights Day) works to end sexual and gender based violence.
Together with international partners, faith based organizations and global advocacy groups around the world, we work to break the silence, stop the stigma and end Sexual and Gender Based Violence.
Lutherans were significantly present at the recently-concluded United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) held in Glasgow. We all carry hopes and adjust our actions to care for creation at this time of climate crisis.
With deep investment in our shared future and earthly home, hear a general report on COP 26 from LWF Youth delegation members and join us in conversation about where to go from here.
Save the date!
